FRENCH PROVINCIAL DUPLEXES - BOX HILL

This is another of our duplex developments, currently under assessment by the council. With the unique situation of a significantly sloping site, this allowed the opportunity for a basement on the right hand unit. Taking full advantage of this, a third level of living was included, providing a home theatre, rumpus room and wine cellar, making this an overall exceptional lifestyle and home in the area. Classic French Provincial styling to the façade, including Juliet balconies and feature bay windows/rooms is combined with detailed integration of landscaping with the architectural style and envelopes, creating a sense of grandeur. These two facades work harmoniously, yet still provide strong individual personalities and entry approaches. Although the owner was focused on the French Provincial façade styling, the interior of the building employs a much more contemporary and modern approach, with large open plan living and wide span windows and sliding doors.
