We achieve this through our shared work ethos, rich and varied experiences, the application of cutting edge industry technology & all overlaid with the highest of professional standards.

The genesis of DesignEdge began some 28 years ago when 2 RMIT Architecture students met for the first time in a design studio where they were drawn to work together on a joint assignment. The assignment went well and helped forge a strong spirit of friendship, team work & co-operation that now forms the backbone of our practice.

The current practice was formed in 1992 and moved to the present Richmond office to form a central base from which to service our many and varied clients throughout the Melbourne & metropolitan areas. Today we service all areas and have a wide diversity of experience having dealt with almost every local council, government and private authority in the metropolitan area.

Prior to forming DesignEdge Branko worked as a senior/project architect on Tourist projects in Queensland (Surfers Paradise and Cairns area), office and commercial projects in Melbourne.

As a director of DesignEdge Associates he has been involved in all aspects of residential projects, including individual homes, alterations & additions, multi-unit projects and larger medium density housing developments.

Non Residential projects include restaurants, shops, factories, office Fit-outs, and numerous local council projects such as sporting facilities & Creches/Kindergartens.

During his time at the head of DesignEdge Mario has strived to use his love of all aspects of design and the practice of Architecture to develop a diverse, inspiring & design focused folio of residential projects. His projects have ranged from the largest of luxury homes to the most modest home alterations. This body of work demonstrates a wide diversity of Architectural styles & design approaches, ranging from sympathetic and faithful additions to period homes at one end of the design spectrum to modern, sometimes confronting but always timeless buildings at the

other end.
